Heidi Walters is the Director of International Marketing at the North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development in Raleigh, NC. She oversees the tourism marketing efforts in the UK and Germany and Canada.
Ms. Walters has more than 25 years experience in both marketing and operations for the tourism industry. She has served as both sales director and general manger for several hotel properties in Cincinnati, OH. After moving to NC she spent 10 years as Assistant Director of Sales at the Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Ms. Walters is currently the Vice President of Finance for the Carolinas Chapter of Meeting Professionals International and has served as President of MPI – Carolinas Chapter and the Tourism Education Foundation. In addition, she has served on the NC TIA and NC Chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. |  |
