Erin is Group Sales Manager for the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, in Durham, NC. Erin has been at the Inn for 11 years. During her tenure at the Inn, Erin, has also served on various other committees in the community. She has been an active member of the Durham Jaycees, Served as Publicity Chairman for the Animal Protection Society’s Walk for the Animal Fundraiser, and also served on the Advisory Committee of the Durham Chamber of Commerce’s, Professional Women’s Network. Erin is currently a member of the Duke University Special Events Council.

Erin is a Durham Native, and Graduate of East Carolina University. At ECU, Erin, secured a major in Hospitality Management and a minor in Business. Erin also attained a minor in vocal music performance. After completion of her degrees at ECU, she participated in a Management Training Program with Washington Duke Inn. This program was a year long course that rotated through every department in the hotel to learn the management aspect of each department. She has been working in the Sales and Marketing department ever since the completion of the training program.

Erin has been an active member of MPI since 2000. She has worked on the membership/ hospitality committee for several years. In 2005-2006 she was Chair of the Awards and Scholarships committee and in 2006-2007 Chair for Member Care. Erin received the President’s Award at the 2006 Annual meeting. Erin has been on the board for the past three years under different roles in the area of member care. She is looking forward to this year, as she shifts her focus towards Education.

Erin lives in Raleigh with her husband, Brandon, their daughter Peyton, and their son Austin. She is an animal lover, having a cat and two dogs of her own. She also enjoys the beach, singing with her church choir, the performing arts, and spending time with friends and family.
