Erin is Group Sales Manager for the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, in Durham, NC. Erin has been at the Inn for 8 years. During her tenure at the Inn, Erin, has also served on various other committees in the community. She has been an active member of the Durham Jaycees, Served as Publicity Chairman for the Animal Protection Society’s Walk for the Animal Fundraiser, and is currently serving on the Advisory Committee of the Durham Chamber of Commerce’s, Professional Women’s Network. Erin is also currently a member of the Duke University Special Events Council. In spring 2007, she was part of a fundraising team for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man and Woman of the Year campaign.

Erin is a Durham Native, and Graduate of East Carolina University. At ECU, Erin, secured a major in Hospitality Management, and a minor in Business. Erin also attained a minor in vocal music performance, which is her true passion. After completion of her degrees at ECU, she participated in a Management Training Program with Washington Duke Inn. This program was a year long course that rotated through every department in the hotel to learn the management aspect of each department. This program lead her to her passion for Hotel Sales and Marketing.

Erin has been an active member of MPI since 2000. She has worked on the membership/ hospitality committee for several years. In 2005-2006 she was Chair of the Awards and Scholarships committee, and in 2006-2007 Chair for Member Care. Erin received the President’s Award at the 2006 Annual meeting. She now serves on the Board of Directors, as the Director for Awards and Recognition. Erin lives in Raleigh with her husband, Brandon, and their 9 month old daughter Peyton. She is an animal lover, having two cats and two dogs of her own. She also enjoys the beach, singing and the performing arts, and spending time with friends and family.
