President & CEO, of American Meetings & Events, Inc., Danny Treece founded the company in April 1993, and continues to offer “VCS-Very Customized Service” to all of his clients.

Danny, a consummate professional, thrives in a fast-paced, pressured environment. He has 25 years of expertise in planning meetings, conferences, tradeshows and employee events for non-profit, Fortune 500 corporations, religious and government entities.

Danny has been an active member in Meeting Professionals International (MPI) for 17 years. He is a Life Member United States Jaycees, Life Member of South Carolina Jaycees Palmetto Corp. He has been an active member of the Religious Conference Management Association and Christian Meetings & Conventions Association.

He has served as the MPI-Carolina Chapter Liaison for Special Interest Group to International Headquarters, Strategic Alliances Chair – MPI-CC, Meeting Planning Chair – MPI-CC, Meeting Planning Committee – MPI-CC, Sponsor for MPI-CC Chapter Reception at PEC – New Orleans, LA and Co-sponsored for MPI-CC at WEC 2007 in Montreal Canada. He has also been involved as a MPI-CC Table Host, MPI Special Interest Group Advisory Council, MPI Membership Committee.

He is currently serving on the MPI Advisory Council and is the Advertising Chair, MPI-CC.

Danny attended Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. His graduate work has taken place at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte in Education.
