Chris has been an “AV Geek” since before graduating from Western Carolina University in 1986. Armed with a B.S. Degree in Radio & Television and a minor in Theater he ventured into the business world freelancing as a videographer for weddings and corporate events. He was quickly employed by Communications Equipment Company in Greenville, S.C. as a technician in the regions burgeoning Audio Visual Rental and Events industry. There he met his wife Mary and soon added to the family, daughters Hannah and Katherine. Afterwards he grew personally and professionally within other AV companies such as IVS Media, and Special Event Services. He finally settled down in Greensboro, NC with A&V Company. That was in 1994 and since then he has risen through the ranks of the privately owned company to the current position of Vice President. Primarily responsible for the AV Rental and Events Divisions strategic partnerships he also handles much of the company’s marketing and advertising as well as contract negotiations. Chris was the past Director of Meeting Planning and is currently serving as the Director of Awards & Recognition for MPI-CC. |  |
