Barbara has been in the hospitality industry for 20+ years, and is proud to be with the Westin Charlotte as Sales Manager working the Corporate Group / NFL and NBA markets. Prior to the Westin she was part of the pre-opening and opening sales team howling for the Great Wolf Lodge-Charlotte/Concord for 2 years and spend 8 great years with Charlotte Marriott City Center working the corporate and association markets.

Prior to joining the Board of Directors for MPI-CC, she has served on various committees for hospitality, awards, scholarships, silent auction, Dream Team member care and has served on the Board of MPI-CC as Director Awards/Recognition; Marketing/PR and Vice President of Communication and Vice President of Membership.

Originally from Minnesota, growing up and working at her parents resort in northern Minnesota brought her to the meetings and hospitality industry. Moving from Canada, she and her family have been in Charlotte for 14 years and favorite family time is camping and boating with her husband Andy and children Alexis and Chase.
