Alison Harding, CMP has been active in the meeting planning industry since graduating from East Carolina University in 2000 with a Major in Hospitality Management and a Minor in Business Administration. She started her career on the hotel side, working at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center in Greenville, NC. She then switched to corporate meeting planning, and worked for 5 years at Universal Meeting Management, Inc. as Project Coordinator and later Project Manager. While at UMM, Alison planned numerous meeting types to include National Advisory Boards, Local Advisory Boards, Team Buildings, Speaker Trainings, Lunch-n-Learns, and Executive Retreats.
Alison obtained her CMP in January 2006. Currently, she is a Meeting Planner for Global Knowledge in Cary, NC, where she plans 300+ IT and Management Skills training classes per year.
An active member of MPI-CC since January 2005, Alison has served as the Co-Chair for the Triangle Dream Team Luncheon Series and the Chair of the Hospitality Committee. She was awarded with “Tomorrow’s Leader Award” in May 2008. She currently serves on the MIP-CC Board as the Director of Dream Teams and is also a member of the Meeting Planning Committee. |  |
